The RYA Level 2 Powerboating course offers a huge range of powerboating and shorebased skills, necessary for owning or hiring a powerboat both in the UK or abroad. This RYA powerboating level 2 training course covers high and low speed handling, manoeuvring, essential information on safety and how to use basic equipment.
 
This course focuses on close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations. We practice manoeuvres in Brighton Marina as well as high-speed manoeuvres in the open water. We  also complete a theory session, including a passage plan and pilotage to Shoreham-by-Sea. The course is finished off with a lap of honour to demonstrate all the skills you have learnt!
